Crowning Champs Day

It's that time again ... I've dusted off the hi-tech thrones ... I've rolled out the red carpet.
And now I raise a glass of shandy to ....

Challenge Champ & Mogul Maximus .... our one and only jules44!
Indeed, she also qualifys as the player to have enjoyed/endured most pengy hugs! mos623 was the top American player ... and a past Challenge Champ ... but will he, will anyone ever manage to prise jules off her thrones? I think not ... but then again I'm only a simple minded little penguin.

Titanasaurus Rex ....dear dippo will you please come on up and claim your throne. It's the second time you've won it. Last time was in May 2009 and you could have been heading for a triple ... except ... alas... you also became a Fearless, Fearsome Invincible. So too did twosleepy , last months top USA trooper and this means something important.
Eureka! I have it! This month the Titans will be thrown wide open for anyone courageous enough to pile into the fight.
Last month only 5 crack USA troopers enlisted and as I study yesterdays battle stats I see something worrying. Worrying for my american buddies that is ... but a cause for celbration for the UK & Co.
I blink disbelievingly ... I rub my eyes ... nope ... I was right.
Not one single American has reported to the battlefield to engage the enemy. Where have they gone? Where did they go? Have they wriggled under the wire and deserted the field? Kidnapped? POW's? Afraid? Busy pigging out at the Mogul smorgasbord?
Hmm ... as offical self-elected referee around here I feel duty bound to point out that if not one single USA player fights the good fight, well ... not only will the Uk & Co win a fabulous, never before known Titan victory ... but ... in the larger scheme of things it will be so damaging that the whole May war could be lost!
Hey guys , this is serious!
America ... you face annihilation!
Alarmist? You bet ... my little heart skipped a beat at the awful thought

Sole Survivor ..... Ah ... will WorldB come on up and take his rightful place. This heartens me and dispels my mood of impending doom..
I will shake out a Stars & stripes throw and drape it over his throne. Actually, it's my bedspread. Perhaps he'll autograph it for me?
Top UK player was paper aeroplane ... no surprise there when you come to think about it. It must be handy having a plane to keep out of the Pit and Piranha's clutches.
And next we fall to our knees in fear before out Great Ones ... these are the ones who make you tremble when you're hurdling through the trenches and feel the ground shake behind you.
