March Tournament Stats From HQ

Last month it was awful close. This month it's..

The Challenge
USA won 11290 pts with 40 plys = 59.5% (last month won with 53%)
UK & Co won 9613 pts with 50 plays = 40.5% (last month lost with 47%)
USA win Marchs Challenge by 19% ( last month won by 6%)
A massive win aswell! This could be a tournament record..not sure..have to check...but just now I must draw in a deep steadying breath and soldier on.

The Titans
USA won 3203 with 14 plys = 60% (last month won with 49.9%)
UK & Co won 2888 with 19 plys = 40% (last month won, just, with 50.1%)
USA win Marchs Titans by 20% (last month lost by 0.2%)
A more massive win! I just knew the american army wouldn't take last months Titan defeat without wanting revenge. UK & Co you have been punished! You were hammered. Those red devils came back with a vengeance and....who's going to text Barack in London so he can break the news to Gordon?
I'm having palpitations here....I feel for you UK.....I really do.
Two battles down so far....2 wins for the Obama's Army.

The Mogul
USA won 4440 pts = 54% (last month lost with 49%)
UK & Co won 3780 pts = 46% (last month won with 51%)
USA win Marchs Mogul by 8% (last month lost by 2%)
UK you bit the dust again...wow, you have to hand it to the americans..they didn't mess about. They went straight for the jugular and savaged all in their path to glory.

The Survivor
USA won 4485 pts = 52% (last month lost with 47.3%)
UK & Co won 4110 pts = 48% (last month won with 52.7%)
USA win March Sole Survivor by 4% (last month lost by 5.4%)
Oh dear....I'm gobsmacked. What can I say? Rest assured I'll think of something soon.
I have it! UK & Co you have been well and truly pummelled into submission.

UK & Co only got 43.7% of the firing pins...that's a 12.6% convincing win!
I had a premonition of slaughter and carnage...last month the UK won by a measly 0.4%. Luck? Genius? Whatever... they won by the skin of their teeth.
Janauary UK & Co won by 2.8%
December UK & Co won by 4%
November UK & Co won by 5%
Before that it was american supremacy for eight months! Cor, now there's a frightening thought. This Tour of Duty was running neck and neck at four wins each....now the USA are in the lead! In fact since tournament history began both armies had snatched 10 wins each...till now.

This is serious news for the losing army.....You went down fighting...but.....you still went down. Like the phoenix from the ashes you must rise again! I can wax lyrical too...or I can sob for you into a soggy tissue.
But for the conquering heroes and heroines of the month ...who took defeat month after month ....and undaunted, came back fighting...Congratulations!So much nicer than the nearly wild turkey.
