So let's raid HQ and see who earned glory.

UK & Co won 11909 pts with 48 plys = 47.4% (last month lost with 46%)
USA win January Challenge by 5.2% (last month won by 8%)
Just a minute..be patient..ah here we are A bit of ceremony is fun.
First blood to the red army...the UK & Co are going to have run faster to catch this fearsome bunch. But....take heart...you weren't stamped into the mud quite so hard. Not been as many new recruits for the losers either, sorry, runners-up.

The Titans
Oh I say...this is a bit of a blow. How disappointing...I was so sure I would have bet money on it. I backed the wrong side! Pengy radar is proving faulty again.
The UK & Co had the edge here at one point in the battle, exciting stuff, gave me insommnia and anxiety attacks...but...
USA won 2851 pts with 13 plys = 52.3% (last month won by 51%
UK & Co won 4203 pts with 21 plys = 47.7% (last month lost by 49%)
USA win January Titans by 4.6% (last month won by 2%)

Oh UK...Oh dear...they sneaked up from behind and it was body bag time. The USA Titans are proving unbeatable. A smaller army too...I find that hugely impressing.
That's 2 battles for the USA for anyone who's counting.
And pengy is getting worried for the UK & Co.

The Mogul
USA won 4360 pts = 47.2% (last month lost with 44%)
UK & Co won 4860 pts = 52.8% (last month won with 56%)
UK & Co win January Mogul by 5.6% (last month won by 12%)
Whew...one in the bag for the blues! Where's my flag ...here...
Bet that made you sit up straight you devilish americans...this makes it close..this means it goes right down to the line on the last battlefield.

The Survivor
Are the the bravest and finest are going to decide who become Januarys champs?
USA won 4060 pts = 42.4% (last month lost with 44%)
UK & Co won 5510 pts = 57.6% (last month won with 56%)
UK & Co win Januarys Survivor by 15.2% (last month by 12%)
Pengy stamps his/her flipper down hard with glee! There!

That's 2 each!
Chuck all these 4 results into an empty sardine can, shake em' about and.... get those big mansize tissues ready for....there's a bald eagle crying.

Overall result
USA = 48.6% of the grenades
UK & Co =51.4% and get to pull the firing pins.
UK & Co win Januarys war by 2.8%.
Congratulations...a fine team effort!
(though last month it was 4%..and before that 5%)
I can detect a pattern forming...on a descending scale.
Pengy prediction: In three months time the USA might win...could be less if they get galvanized or call in new recruits...because it sure looks like they're coming!
