Results from HQ October 2018

Greetings human warriors, worthy patriotic fighters ... and survivors of the ghoulish ghosties of Halloween.

So how went the October war?
Did the UK & Co once again trounce my American buddies and grind them into the mud? Trample them underfoot in the wartorn trenches strewn with battle debris from the Survivor smorgasbord?

The Challenge
The USA fielded 14 fabulous heroes who bagged 7211 points  = 51.9% of the spoils of war.
The UK & Co sent in 10 fantastic warriors, snatched 6686 pts = 48.1% of the goodies.
The USA won the October Challenge .
Oh isn't it nailbiting stuff when victory is snatched but fought out to the bitter end!

The Survivor
The USA fielded 8 super heroes, bagged 1917 pts = 50.8%.
The UK & Co fielded 10 woadwearers, won 1857 pts = 49.2%
The USA also won the October Survivor!

Hooray! I'm shaking out the Stars & Stripes as we speak, or, as I feverishly type and you read. It's been my bedspread since July ... time to shake off the crumbs and fish bones and proudly hoist it up the flagpole to honour our marvellous victors.

Final Result: Two battles make one war.
USA = 51.3%
UK & Co = 48.7%

What a comeback! Come on UK, show your teeth ... bite and bite hard and take no prisoners and show your cousins across the Pond just how dangerous an angry Brit can be.
Needless to say your pacifist, meek resident Pengy referee does not condone violence of any kind.
Live ammo is not allowed under the Rules of Engagement ... only edible missiles such as hash browns and marshmallows kindly provided by Qmel and MarchHare007. .. who I'd like to thank for their spirit of fun and for volunteering to feed and fuel two hungry armies.
