Results from HQ September 2018

Greetings heroic humans

My American buddies came storming back in September ... but was it enough to snatch rule of the world from the absolutely fabulous UK?

The Challenge
The USA fielded 14 crack troopers, snatched 6687 points - 48.8%
The UK & Co fielded 9 intrepid heroes, bagged 7023 pts = 51.2%
The UK & Co won the September Challenge battle.

Which was considerably closer than in August! Did my UK mates feel an itch between their shoulder blades there? A shiver running down their spine? A premonition of impending conquest!

It all rested on the quiz-tricky battle in the Survivor trenches.
The Survivor.
The USA fielded 8 super heroes, bagged 1788 pts = 49.2%
The UK & Co sent in 10 fab quizzers, won 1845 pts = 50.8%
The UK & Co won the September Survivor battle.

Two battles make one War!
The USA = 49%
The UK & Co = 51%

Another fine UK & Co victory ..... but by only a 2% margin. In August it was 52.2% to 47.8%.
Take care UK, the Americans are coming ... closing the gap ... are determined to snatch glory from your grasp.
Needless to say that this pengy is scurrying off to hoist the winner's flag .. with pride, always with pride ... I love all humans! ... before jogging off to sit on the sidelines of the quizzes and pinch tasty nibbles from the smorgasbord.
