Results from HQ October 2015

Greetings patriotic warriors .... and fabulous quizzers.

How went the October war?

The Challenge
The USA fielded 19 daring fighters, grabbed 7789 points  = 48.3% of the spoils of war.
The UK & Co sent in 15 worthy warrriors, won 8330 pts = 51.7% of the bigger spoils of war.
The UK & Co won, and won very convincingly, the October Challenge Battle.

The Survivor
The USA fielded 13 crack troopers who snatched 2533 pts = 42.4%
The UK & Co fielded 15 magnificent troopers who bagged 3440 pts = 57.6%.
Hmm .. they take no prisoners do they .. these Fearsome fighters.
The UK & Co won the October Survivor Battle.

And two battles make for one monthly war!
USA = 42.2%
UK & Co = 57.6%
The Union Jack once again flies victoriously from the flag pole.
The Stars & Stripes, once again, becomes my cherished bed throw .. and cherished it is, now the northern hemisphere nippy nights are upon us.  Make no mistake my American buddies I'm cheering for you! Anticipating the day when my throw gets a much needed laundering and gets to soar free like a bald eagle.
But until that day comes ...
The UK & Co won the October War.
Again.
I can hear the cheers coming from Downing Street and Buckingham Palace .. whilst a cloud of silence hangs over the White House.
Well done warriors .. all my much admired warriors ... who will once again bravely enter the fray.
Remember, no one takes this war seriously. Least of all moi, your pacifist pengy referee, who is, even now, scampering over to the battlefields to incite war,  along with bandages and splints at the ready for the war wounded and injured.
