Results from HQ August 2015

Greetings human friends!
Wow .. there were some fearsome, ferocious players out on the battlefields in August. This pengy, full of admiration ... salutes you all!

But less of this drivel from the fishy referee, enjoyable though it is.
How went the War!

The Challenge
The USA fielded 18 staunch troopers, nabbed 7708 points = 54.3%
The UK & Co, with 16 heroic fighters snatched 6500 pts = 45.7%
I say my American buddies that was a magnificent and impressive victory on the Challenge battlefield! ... and congratulations to their top General Suep who led them to success.

But two battles make for one monthly War .. and as we all know ... no one is better, braver, cleverer and more deadly than the UK & Co army at carving through the opposition on the Survivor.
I quickly rattle my abacus ... and the score pops out.

The Survivor
The USA army enlisted 10 warriors, snatched 2381 pts = 43.3%
The UK & Co, the unbeatable woadwearers, 16 of them ... won 3125 pts = 56.7%

A big groan of dismay just rolled across the Atlantic, and it registered on Richter Scales around the globe. Will the US gain made on the Challenge be enough to survive the punishment meted out on the Survivor? Or did the unconquerable UK & Co once  more Rule the waves?

Final Score (over both battles)
USA =  48.8%
UK & Co = 51.2%

Oh .. it's getting closer! A mere minor inconsequential 2.4% margin ... which means the Americans are gaining strength, they're coming ... be afraid UK, be very afraid. But not this month because you still reign supreme!
Martin cube ... the smarties, salmon mousee (eek!) and spring rolls are proving to be high speed battle rations .... but I'm rather partial to scrambled eggs too so might just jog over to Qmel's smorgasbord and beg some nibbles from you both.

Let the new battle commence!
