Results from HQ for July 2015

Greetings my human friends, warriors and patriotic heroes and heroines.

Would you believe, how time marches on  ... July was the first war in the 9th Tour of Duty .... let no one accuse you of not fighting this global war with tenacity and determination. For there is no Victor until the Vanquished has fled the battlefield and admitted Defeat.
And neither army has.
So the war still wages on ...
Fabulous isn't it!

So how did the July war end? Who won?

The Challenge
The USA army fielded 18 fantastic quizzers who snatched 8371 points  =  48.6% of the spoils of war.
The UK & Co fielded 16 fabulous quizzers who grabbed 8864 points  = 51.4%.
The UK & Co won the July Challenge.

Scampering over to the next battlefield, because two battles make one monthly War ...

The Survivor
The USA sent 10 fighters into the muddy trenches ... grabbed 2610 points = 44.3%
The UK & Co sent 15 troopers into the fray who won 3287 points = 55.7%
The UK & Co snatched victory in the July Survivor.

Overall winner for July
USA = 46.5%
UK & Co = 53.5%

I'm shaking out my Union Jack to hoist up the flagpole whilst casting a hopeful eye on the folded Star & Stripes ... that one day it's day will come but it's not today as today it is going back in the drawer.

Well done UK & Co! Once more you snatched victory!
Never surrender my American buddies ... for one day Glory will be yours again.

Hmm .. at this point in the rousing warmongering talk I ought to mention a glitch on the Survivor quiz.
In a nutshell .... I can't change the questions.
Which in a nutshell means ... the whole months play is stuck on the current settings at the easier level.
I blame FT for this. And hope it will be rectified as soon as possible. I sit here with bated  .. and even baited breath ... waiting for a fix.
