Results from HQ for January 2015

The first battle of 2015 has been heroically fought!
The battlefields are strewn with combatant quizzers nursing bruised knees, kicked shins .. and abandoned edible missiles from the smorgasbord.

So who won? Who has made a cracking start to the new year?

The Challenge
The USA fielded the larger army, with 21 patriotic fighters who snatched 7776 points = 45% of the spoils of war.
The UK & Co fielded a crack squad of 15 players who nabbed 9467 points = 55%
The UK & Co won the January Challenge battle.

The Survivor
The USA sent in 13 scalp hunters who snatched 3246 pts  = 48%
The UK & Co sent in 15 woad wearers who won 3524 pts = 52%
That was close! Hmm ... could a couple more courageous Americans storming across the battlefield have swung it for my American buddies and snatched victory from the maw of defeat?

Two battles make one war.
USA = 46.5%
UK & Co = 53.5%

The all-conquering UK & Co won the January war !
Take heart USA ... you were so close on the Survivor battle to giving the mother county a poke in the eye.  Perhaps in February hey?

And on the smorgasbord, AKA edible rocket fuel for patriotic players kindly provided by martin cube and Qmel, I see Alarm Chilli .... sounds lethal. Careful UK. .. or there's the advocaat ... for performance enhancing supplements.
I shall trot over there now and take a pew and cheer along in a pacifist fashion as the next rollicking good scrap begins!
