Results from HQ. June 2013

Hello friends ... warriors ... patriotic defenders and clever people!

Results for June.

The Challenge
The USA fielded 20 worthy warriors, won 6823 pts   = 44.9%
The UK & Co sent in 18 fantastic fighters, won 8385 pts = 55.1%
The UK & Co won the June Challenge by a 10.2% margin.

So .. a sympathetic hug to my American buddies ... and No! This is not a military court and we do NOT have firing squads at dawn. For one thing ... it's too messy. Our top player, who romped in first and earns a round of applause is jules44#1 for the UK & Co. A Fearsome Invincible indeed ... can no one topple her from her throne! She led the woad wearers to a resounding victory. Leading the defeated was top USA hero Suep#1. A valiant effort but .. alas ... still the defeated.

The Survivor
The USA fielded 11 players and grabbed 2419 points = 35.5%
The UK & Co counter-attacked with a larger, more deadly force ... and hey, were they good! They bagged 4402 points = 64.5%.
The UK & Co won the June Survivor battle by a margin of 29%
And what an good scrap we had between two of the top winning warriors. A big cheer for miffy42#2 who scampered into the lead and won the Survivor by ... one point. Only one single point. And also a cheer for the losing army who was valiantly led into the fray by their top Survivor player Alanwong5#4.

Overall stats from HQ for the June War ...
USA = 40.2%
UK & Co = 59.8%

Dare I suggest  .. have the UK & Co become all the all-conquering rulers of the world?
June was the last battle in the 6th Tour of Duty. They also won every single battle in the 6th Tour!
Should this referee Pengy finally admit to their superiority and officially declare them the fiercest army on the planet?
Do I hear an American shout ... we surrender!!!!! Anyone? A whisper will do.
As long as there is one breath of resistance from across the ocean ... as long as one brave American dares to join in the fight and run through the trenches with a snappy fast scrolling finger and a mouse ... my American buddies are not beat. Just battered and bruised ... but not cowed.
