Results from HQ July 2012

Pengy reporting in from HQ ...
After watching the fine Olympic swimmers and weightlifters.
Yes, I like to watch humans at play. And yes, I'm cheering for my favourite countries! The Brits ... the USA ... Canada ... New Zealand ... Australia! And a few others and not neccesarily in that order.

But as we here already know .. this is where the true Olympiads live and fight the daily battle for supremacy.
The fantastic UK & Co versus USA war is the toughest in the world.

Right .. less of the pleasantries, pleasant though they are, and down to the number crunching and backbreaking business of announcing Julys victor.

The Challenge
The USA fielded 21 rather magnificent troopers who grabbed 7689 points = 53%
The Uk & Co sent in a hit squad of 28 warriors who grabbed 6870 points = 47%
The USA won the June Challenge ... again!..... by 6%.
Our top UK General to romp home was jules44 .... Challenge Champ!
Our top USA General across the finishing line was WorldB ...

The Survivor
The USA bagged 3304 points = 38%
The UK & Co ... brace yourselves ... and grab a tissue if you're American ... bagged 5357 points = 62%
The UK & Co nailed another very convincing victory and won the July Survivor by 24%
Braindart was top USA player, great name! I love it. And THE top player and becomes our new Sole Survivor! Well done Braindart ... I'm waving at you here. Someone buy him/her a drink ... deposing jules has elevated them to the status of National Hero for the Day.... (and have a fishy kiss from me).
Top UK trooper across the finishing line was the magnificent jules44 herself. Ooooer ... take care Braindart ... Be afraid ... I'm sure jules will be back for revenge. I'll get the splints and bandages ready shall I?


Has the American comeback to Greatness faltered?
The overall result for the two battles = 1 war for July.
The USA = 45.5%
The UK & Co = 54.5%
The UK & Co take another resounding victory by 9%.
Last month it was by 11%
In May it was by 21.5%

Yes .. I can see a pattern there ... a slow erosion of UK supremacy but can the Americans do it? Can they dislodge the Old Empire. They did it before ... they can do it again. Anyone for tea?
