4/1 to the great USA...and jules almost got trampled! Tsk..the Stars & Stripes is flying for the first time since the 7th. Decided enough was enough did you WorldB? But can you keep it there?

pc377 was my fave player for yesterdays eve....got a personal best...I miss nothing. Well done! And Helmar is really starting to settle into the trench warfare...nifty little trooper..yes, like the look of him/her.

So who's our most consistently good player? Well it's not an American. Been an Invincible for as long as I can remember..and nearly always lives up on the lofty heights.

Congratulations to magijoh1#5....you...you clever thing you. I'm stuck for words ..you haven't got any answers wrong yet. This must be some kind of record surely?

I raided HQ..as I do...this incurably curious pengy wanted to know how the war is going. Oh dear UK & Co..the good news is the Americans haven't extended their lead on the Challenge battlefield....much. But boy are you going to have to grease your heels and sprint fast to catch them...they're devilishly good you know. Stats as we speak..or in your case fight...USA have a fantastically impressive lead with 57% compared to the UK at 43%. If anything they've managed to stretch ahead a smidgin since I last bragged on their behalf. and brag I shall because actually I think that's pretty good work...

Can I Cuddly? Can I give you a cuddle? A first win comes at a price. I knew you were going to do it sooner or later. Didn't start fighting until the 12th..oh..what a shame. Still, it's all good training ready for a full months play. I'm expecting to see a lot more of you.

We had a leadership change too....dippo snatched the lead for the UK! Tackled j2cp2 for ownership of the throne ....still has it but is hanging on by the fingertips but with team mate Doc closing in ready to lend a hand..or even snatch it for himself..well, I'll get the aqua vitae ready for you j2cp2 shall I. Grit your teeth..hang on..you can still do it!

The USA team are winning here ......keep this up and they'll be declaring a national Bank Holiday and nailing scalps to their totem poles. I'm sorry ..was that a little un-PC? But that only applies to humans doesn't it? Laws made by humans for humans...not likeable gregarious penguins.

Oops..almost forgot to tell you the stats so far...USA..whose army is half the size of the Uk army I might add, which means stick another feather in your hat, sorry, USA have 56% percent of the blueberry muffin and UK only have 44%.

That win the UK stole aeons back (OK I'm exagerating, it was only a couple of months) is beginning to seem like a faint memory.

I've got a tasty bit of news here though to uplift UK morale.

Cor...what a snappy time too. 14 seconds...what a comeback after the mishap the Survivor of a few days back when our spiffy little critter came last. Hard to believe isn't it...but it's true. And Quiz Beagle was right..there was a pile-up on 28 seconds..5 of you slithered under the guillotine together!

In fact the whole UK army are storming to glory on the mogul...hee..hee..I don't think you're going to catch them my american buddies...

UK have a whopping 2720 bonus points stashed and my friends I'm afraid you only have 2180...or for those who fancy mathematical wizardry..UK have 55.5% and the USA have 44.5%

Does this offset the damage done on the Challenge and Titans?

I want to give bernie a hug here if I may. Don't be bashful bernie. An Invincible this month and a win on the Survivor. Anyone who can win on the toughest battle field has to rate as a fave player. It's tough and dirty there..but not as dirty as in the muddy Pit.

How do I know it's tough? I know because the undisputed genius on here has still got 12 wrong in 19 days...it is total mental mayhem remember ..and it's mos623#1 for the USA. Ah...I'm not really shocked speechless....he is good.

But not good enough to hold back the UK team onslaught....

Uk & Co have 2700 points stashed = 54.5% and USA have 2260 stashed = 45.5%.

In plain Amercian english and English english this means overall....

the Americans are still in the lead..just...by 1.5 percent. Hah! They're eeking out their lead...that's two kipper bones between you..

Pengy has his incisive tactical head on...this months war is going to hinge on the Survivor and the Mogul...

But for now....a final word...I'm dying to clap for my fave overall players at the moment....magijoh1 UK on the Challenge. Doc UK on the Titans. jules44 UK and StuHern UK on the Mogul..and mos623 USA on the Survivor.

Now less adulation and more true grit serious stuff...I'm off to the mogul for catbrat63's tasty macaroni cheese.
