February Tournament Stats From HQ

A pengy has to do what a pengy has to do....
Got the final stats from HQ and I scurried in my bomb pod..read them, had an anxiety attack and read them again...and again.
But pengy is no chicken...so here I am armed and extremely dangerous.

Hint. It's awful close. ..awful.

The Challenge
USA won 10757 pts with 43 plys = 53% (last month won with 52.6%)
UK & Co won 11115 pts with 50 plys = 47% (last month lost with 47.4%)
USA win the February Challenge by 6% (last month won by 5.2%)
A flag...ah...there...
The USA army are getting better and better....Blackdresss has been busily recruiting. Seems like no matter what the UK hit squad does...this battle went to the red devils again.

UK & Co won 4124 pts with 21 plys = 50.1% (last month lost with 47.7%)
UK & Co win Februarys Titan by 0.2% (lost last month by 4.6%)

First win ever! By a whisker..but who cares...UK & Co have finally done it! Never again will the americans be able to brag about an unbeaten record. The best team the UK & Co have ever fielded snatched glory....trampled on hallowed ground... The Empire Strikes Back!

Pengy would love to congratulate and shake flippers with the whole UK & Co squad. Mind, if I was you I'd shrug into my flak jacket now and brace myself for a vengeful onslaught now in retaliation.

UK & Co won 4600 pts = 51% (last month won with 52.8%)
UK & Co win Februarys Mogul by 2% (last month won by 5.6%)
Pengy proudly hoists another itty bitty flag There.
Impartial pengy gnaws a floppy lip and ponders...don't be too disheartened my american friends. You slashed their win by half on last month. 2% is nothing. 190 points...or one more ferocious american slithering under the guillotine for 20 days and aw shucks, you could have won.
A cogitating pengy realises this is now awfully close.
It's all going to hinge on the final battlefield....yes, that one. Don't think it's ever been this tight in tournament history...if any of you went AWOL at all on any battlefield......start feeling guilty now! This is WAR! Your country needed you!
It was about now, studying the stats that I was tempted to sneak into my bomb pod.
Messengers have been known to be put up against a wall and pelted with kippers you know.
The Survivor....and grippingly decisive...my little heart just missed a beat.

UK & Co won 4605 pts = 52.7% (last month won with 57.6%)
UK & Co win Februarys Survivor by 5.4% (last month won by 15.2%)
Hoist the flag....
Sit quietly whilst the Einsteins amongst you engage in a bit of rapid mental arithmetic... or say it quick so it's painless

Overall winner over the 4 battlefields for February

UK & Co win with 50.2% of the grenades.
USA ..right behind, breathing down their necks with 49.8 of the firing pins.
YES! that close! UK win by only 0.4%...by the skin of their teeth.
What do you make of that America! Straighten those dejected shoulders. Take heart because you're getting harder to kill!

And pengy is always a winner because it's such great fun refeering as you both battle it out.
