Why..heck yes. Give a big warm welcome to bggirl come to bat for the USA. And hello there to a cute sounding little guy/gal called sleepytigercub who bounded into join the UK pack.

Well it was fierce and fast again. Mink #5 has got to be star player of the new tournament so far. Two wins, two days in a row. That's fatal here you know. It's the Kiss of Death Curse. No one can manage 3 in a row now...not since hovenaut in July did it. It's become proven fact. Win 2 days and you'll take a dive.

So if Mink can't hang onto the relay baton who'll it go to? Will a team member truimph or will it be snatched by the USA.

One things certain..Mink is already leading the Daily Dervish individual award for the month. Three wins in the bag already.

And what's more....I will say this impartially and quietly...the UK have won 5 days and the USA have only won 1.

And....now I'm stumped...cos I want to mention 3 other players who have caught my eye for their exceptional play these last few days. Er....2 of them are UK. 1 American. Ah sorry America...but you had your reign of glory with mos623 when I rubbed the UK's nose in it.

So it's your turn. Grin and bear it!

So who am I on about?

burnsbaron is one of them......mentioned him yesterday...but he's so impressive.. Only played twice this month and has already rip roared up the table to position 77. And another go-getter whose only played twice and is up there as well is TAKROM. .an ..American. Cor...just think if they'd played all 6 they might have been battling for the lead!

Next...just has to be BigT. Did'nt need to settle in. Wham bam...just come storming in. Reckon I'll keep a beady eye on this one.

Oh....I'm making an official managerial announcement here...take heed...it's important.

After much mental cogitation I've decided to improve the point awarding system for toting up the team points at months end.

The principle is the same. Say 150 players play....winner earns 150 points for his/her team.....150th player earns 1. That bit has'nt changed. But...when they're all totted up they will then be divided by the number of team players.....then multiplied by the days played.

So why change such a fab system? This way is better. I hope you'll all agree it's fairer.

To cut to the quick it's means if one team fields loads more players they can't win by sheer weight of numbers. It does mean that the skill and ability of a whole team becomes the winning factor.

So it's not the bigger army that wins....but the smarter army!

Neat idea hey?....I wish I could take the credit but I'd like to thank the person that had the brainwave and suggested it to me.. To which I said in humble amazement....Wow!....Eureka!...or dumb words to that effect. I'm thick incase you did'nt know. That's why I don't play.

I hope you'll all agree the new scoring system is an improvement.

Right I'm of to have a flip flap in the sea. Have'nt had a dip for ages. Water's been too cold.
