The harder questions yesterday saw a few of the usual top players slide into obscurity...but not ainenei. Congratulations on a convincing first win! I've filched a new flag too. Much easier on the eyes...did the other one make you feel kinda seasick too?
So who else shone...you brainy people you.
1. ainenei UK. First time up there with the Gods on Olympus. Fine work!
2. Quiz Beagle UK. Another Brit showing his/her competitive spirit and acumen. Yes..brag..I would.
3. BB1 USA. Did'nt bat an eyelid at the mental punishment. And they were hard!
4. magijoh1 #1 UK. A true all-rounder. One of the few early players to take on the newcomers.
5. bottle rocket USA. Has always gotten 10/10 you know. Deserves to be up here!
The play yesterday was splendid....such a high standard of competition! The average score per player on this tournament way outstrips the other quizzes in the Top 100 Tournaments.
In short...you have to be tough to even be in it.
Not many new players of late. I might mention that not one Australian has jumped heedlessly into the carnage. I learnt a new word the other day....a toey...no, not a joey, a baby kangaroo.
The Aussies must be toey (translation: nervous).
But I'll welcome a brave stalwart who came to join the USA team.

Now....a few things next.
1) I'm having my own scrap with flags at the moment incase you did'nt know. Please keep posting in the comment box on the game if you can't see them. Thanks to all of you who've helped me on this.
2) We're just past the middle of the current tournament...so I had a look to see who is winning now and who is threatening to hammer the other into submission. There could be a brutal finale!
