1. miffy42 UK. Has also shot straight into 1st in the monthly tourney too!
2. midgetmark UK. That's 2nd twice in a row...more about this magnificent midget later.
3. Avin Itoffski UK. Hmn..no avoiding the fact he's determined to get noticed! First time I think in top 5. Great stuff.
4. tihata USA. The only american to hit the top yesterday...more later on this dark horse.
5. Sallyannh UK. A great player...pretty much always consistent.
And there were new victims to the patriotic cause on both sides yesterday aswell. I must say I'm rather chuffed at the response from so many good players.

It's lovely to have you both here. And both with such quirky names.
My brain is on a go slow today...I have a chronically short attention span ....There really is so much going on in this tournament. What will happen next? I'm addicted!
Right...I noticed one thing...since the new tourney started August has seen 10 daily wins for the UK and ....I'll lower my voice for this bit.....the USA have only won 4.
Odd then to think that the USA are still winning....by a smidgen...the overall team event. Which just goes to show hammer them at the top and they still regroup and dominate elsewhere. There's some real tenacious american players hogging hotspots and nabbing the points. Marsalinator is the only american in the top 5...but...I reckon soon he won't be alone.
Two players have been especially outstanding this week...I've had my eye on you both.
Please everyone...I propose a big cheer for midgetmark for the UK and tihata for the USA.
Why? Despite stiff opposition....
midgetmark has battled up from 23rd position on Monday to 10th by start of play today.
tihata was 32nd on Monday and has moved up a staggering 14 places to 18th!
I applaud you both!
It was hard to single out any player but you two have truly earned the MOP. (Most Outstanding Player). And was'nt that a diplomatic coup for me aswell! One from each side.
I'm off again now...time to take a look at nikonforme's new tournament...my spies are bringing back intriguing reports ......come along aswell...the link to find it is just below....Dreamers and Deadmen...(I know which I am).....
