Fantastic Job mos623... The Stars And Stripes Are Back!
And some are quietly fearful that it might be hard to shift this time....but I think both teams...UK included will rightly applaud such a stupendous first effort . I've heard a murmur that a UK player has already nicknamed mos623...The Dominator.
Right...what happened? Who did the bruising and battering!
1. mos623 USA. Even annouced his own arrival in the shout box. Definitley means business.
2. MaggieG #6. UK. Tried a late tackle and unfortunatley failed. What do you make of this new talent?
3. jules44 UK. You know this is the new overall leader? You do now.
4. strnog1 USA. Starting to muscle in...these top lot were so darn close!
5. Marsalinator #2. USA. Hang on...he's back! Nothing will keep him down.
And who were the new recruits willing to risk limb and sanity in the toughest tourney out.
For the USA we had 1 new player. Hello there thothbang (there's a name to conjure with)....hope you enjoy it here.
For the UK we had 3 willing victims......sasquatch1998 ....squisher...(a spiritied Commonwealth ally) ...and jezebel2...Glad you all enlisted ...the UK has quite a fair few players less. And I had a premonition last night that you'll be badly needed.
Right.....I've been making observations again...that's what I do best.
Strikes me that mos623 is going to be the one to watch. Fear him for he is awesome. Take him out if you can UK....fight rough and tough if you have to. He's out to trounce you make no mistake.
Add in Triviaballer and Marsalinator and you could soon be in big trouble. Yesterdays top 5 had 3 Americans in there...they're coming back....the pendulum is swinging. Also add in BrerSchulzty...TAKROM and a horde of hungry americans out for your blood and you'd better look sharpish!
MaggieG had a go at smashing the opposition yesterday...and oh.... did'nt manage to do it. Let's hope mos623 has a duff mouse, or a dodgy broadband connection..or an oldfashioned power cut. Could just be beginners luck? Hmn....somehow I don't think so.
The last 6 days play has seen 6 different winners! mos623 is aiming for a double today. Can miffy42...Mink...mhallesy...and magihjoh...and Howie72 corner him and sort him out! I'm going to sound an awful sadist here but honest truth is I get my kicks out of refereeing you lot.
This tournament is wide open and I've notice Fun Trivia rankings don't matter a jot here! The scrapping is gutsy and deadly . Every player is gritting their teeth, going up another gear and playing like they've never played before. And even the genuises can have off days. Nice to know their not infallible.
Right enough yak (no not that hairy animal. I mean excessive chatter).
I will leave you all, my new friends...yes...I'm getting fond of you all...to go create carnage. And please no obvious fouls...I'll look the other way for minor infringements.
