Don't know how long it will stay there though ...there's loads of super duper players about now.
So what happened in the gladitorial arena yesterday then?
1. miffy42 UK. A no nonsense go-get-em win here I think. Straight for the jugular.
2. MaggieG #6 UK. Ah...back from her hols and in peak fighting form I see.
3. Mink UK. Has had the glory..now has to suffer the gory of inevitable infighting.
4. peachy 1. USA. Good for you! You hung on in there with gritted teeth!
5. Sallyannh UK. This tournament is getting like skittles..knock em down and they get back up!
Well a fine show for the Brits again...but more about that later...first we have some new victims to welcome to the toughest tourney there is.

Well the avalanche has slowed to a trickle.
Some of you might be breathing a sigh of relief over that.
Yesterday was'nt without it's victims though.
Marsalinator was knocked off his pedestal by magijoh1, defending champ from last month. So we have a new leader but only by a 10 point margin. Commiserations Marsalinator....but I reckon you'll be back. If anyone sees him today....buy him a drink will you and say it's from the Penguin.(And mine's a bacardi and coke thanks or a pymms or a vodka...with ice)
Things are certainly hotting up. Now most of you will know it's been observed by Brerschultzy who does'nt miss a trick that players blessed with an M....name do well.
An unfair advantage I say.

Now I reckon that's pretty evenly well matched...especially with Triviaballer and other talents closing up behind and trying to muscle in.
There's a heap of players from both sides still settling in and finding their feet. You do have to admit it is like an initiation by fire coming here.
Wonder how much damage those extra 10 American players are going to inflict? Fastest Finger and Three In A Row awards have already both been grabbed and kept by the USA aswell.
