The abacus has been vigorously rattled and has spat out the results and is now safely locked away again.
So what did it say in it's ineffable wisdom?
Which army was victorious? And which army must shrug their shoulders back and with new zest and patriotic vigour dive into this months new fray?
Less chatter.
On to the postmortem.
The Challenge
The USA fielded 24 magnificent heroes, and heroines, and other furry critters of a non-human nature but equally clever as the bipeds. They snatched 8079 glorious points for America = 47.5%
The UK & Co fielded 27 dedicated troops .... grabbed 8948 points = 52.5%
The UK & Co army won the March Challenge battle by 5%
In February the UK won by 5.2%.
Hmm ... not a walk over , but they showed no mercy, they took no prisoners .... and my American buddies got beaten.
The Survivor
The USA .... I shall pause here, to hand the tissue box around. Yes ... the one with the Stars & Stripes monogram. Alas .. the USA bagged 3624 points = 32.7%
The UK & Co rampaged home with 6732 ..... or, an annihilating 67.3%
Do you know, I have an unconquerable urge stand up here and wave a salute to the woad wearers.
What a win! The UK & Co won the March Survivor by .... no, I can't bring myself to hit flipper to keyboard. So I shan't.
After two battles, the overall winner of the WAR is ....
The USA = 40.1%
The UK & Co = 59.9%
Break out the celebratory shandy whilst I hoist the flag!

Three cheers!And for my Amercian buddies ... time for a War Council.
Cancel all leave. Scour the streets for new troopers .... get them sharp shooters out on the battlefield. Play the Survivor, for that battle was your undoing.
And remember ... the USA is great .... and your country needs YOU!
If you can't turn the tide the UK & Co will soon start to believe they rule the world!
Is pengy inciting war? Of course I am ... it's a well known fact that's what pacifists do.
It's a new month. It's a new war. But next I shall drag out the thrones and crown our new champs.
