Truly ... the woad wearers are great. Surely they instil Fear into the hearts of all Americans by now? I applaud all my American buddies who dare step onto the battlefield .. with true grit ... who battle through the trenches trying to avoid enemy fire and the trampling feet of those who will not be beaten ... AKA .. the descerndants of the Great British Empire! It's not dead you know. Not with such cunning, clever  warriors of this calibre and mettle.
But it's a New Year ... and perhaps the USA's fortunes will change.
Watch your scalps woadwearers! An angry American is a dangerous American! And I'll have you know in readiness of the coming day when the Stars & Stripes will once again fly proudly over the battlefield I have shaken the flag out of it's dusty box ... thrown away the motheaten mothballs, darned the holes and draped it lovingly over my bed as a duvet cover.  What is more ... each night I shall chant a mantra over it!
