Results from HQ. July 2013

Hello humans!
Yes ... it's that time again when my battle weary friends take a breather and I collect your magnificent scores together and rattle my hi-tech abacus to discover which of you are the winners!
Who will have a firing squad at dawn? And who gets to do a victory dance?

The Challenge
The USA fielded 23 valiant warriors, grabbing 6538 points = 43%
The UK & Co fielded 18 fabulous heroes (and heroines!), winning 8743 = 57%
The UK & Co army won the July Challenge by 14%

The UK army have a cracking lead as we rattle the abacus to see who came out top on .....

The Survivor
The USA won an impressive 2654 points = 38%
The UK & Co gladiators snatched a more impressive 4346 points = 62%
Wow! I can just about see the battlefield hazed in the clouds of dust from their heels.
The UK army won the July Survivor battle by 24%

This is fantastic news UK! Not so good for our American challengers as the overall result for July comes in at

USA = 40.5%
UK & Co = 59.5%


miffy42 led the conquering army to victory on the Challenge and magijoh1 ensured victory by galloping in first on the Survivor   .... Two fine Generals  who have the honour of running the Union Jack up the mast.
A moments silence please ... and a round of cheers to the winning side. And another ... for our gallant runners up ... for no one takes this war seriously! We don't have losers ... we have a runner up. It's all just good fun. So a cheer for my American buddies led by their top General suep in the challenge fracas .... and Clamking on the Survivor.
With so many cracking good players it is hard to single out any one hero for acclaim... and neither can we forget our team trainers and suppliers of gastronomic performance enhancing treats. I like Peach Melba and Sundae myself.

Time for me to jog across to the smorgasbord and put on my best begging face for Qmel and martin cube.
