Results from HQ May 2012

Greetings warriors!
It's Pengy from HQ waving the latest results in my fishy flipper.

The Challenge
The USA fielded 24 troopers, snatched 6650 pts = 48%
The UK & Co fielded 27 troopers brimming with Olympiad zeal and grabbed 7186 points = 52%
The UK & Co won the May Challenge by 4%
They won the April Challenge by 14% ... so, good work my American friends you closed the gap ... you reeled them in but argh! But not enough! They still stormed to victory. It's the Jubilee fever you know. The good old British Empire spirit is running rampant.

The Survivor
Hmm ... they've changed the colours that are available and I don't know about you but I'm not much for this shade of green. Still ... back to the war.
A total of 8423 grenades were stashed in the arsenals.
The USA stockpiled 2563 = 30.5% of the goodies.
The UK & Co grabbed 5860  = 69.5% of the spoils of war.
The UK & Co won the May Survivor by 39%

A vigorous rattle of the abacus ... a bit of mental cogitation and your fishy friend is pleased to announce the final overall result for May is ....

The USA  = 39.25%
The UK & Co = 60.75%
The UK & Co win Mays War by a victorious 21.5%!

And in the streets on that wonderful little island this weekend the bunting will fly in celebration... Happy Anniversary Queen Lizzie! Your brave army has done you proud!
Now .. less sabre rattling. A pause for some solemn contemplation. Some of you might have spotted something. At night whilst snuggled under my duvet, whilst fretting over my war wounded and making mental lists for new splints and bandages I peruse the stats. I do you know, it's true.

We're on the Fifth Tour of Duty ... and what a terrific battle it is but there's no Stars & Stripes flying. Just think! If the UK & Co manage to win this next war in June, they will have won the whole 5th Tour.
Come on USA ... I don't believe you're going to let them get a way with that!
