Results from HQ for September 2011

Our UK & Co fiends won in August ..
Did I say fiends ... friends ... I meant friends.
But has the unseasonably war weather in September helped or hindered a repeat performance of cross Atlantic domination?

Here are the stats ... the abacus has been rattled ...

The Challenge
The USA army fielded 26 players, snatched 8178 pts = 49.7%
The UK & Co fielded 23 players, grabbed 8286 pts = 50.3%
That was close enough to make me shudder and the adrenalin rush to my flippers!
The UK & Co won the September Challenge by 0.6%.

The Titan
The USA always field a crack little squad on this battlefield ... but could they survive the ravaging and savaging of jules44 leading the woad wearers? Not an easy task I should think. I admire human bravery in any shape or form so have a wave from Pengy!
My brave USA heroes, 6 of them, valiantly won 4260 pts = 42.7%
The UK & Co conquerors, 12 of them, bagged 5719 pts = 57.3%
Ah ... The UK & Co won the September Titan by 14.6%
Yet ... a word of praise ... or a medal if I but had one so instead an honorary kipper bone ... for the heroic Americans who dared to take such a powerful foe on.

The Mogul
The USA slithered under the guillotine and snatched 2490 bonus points = 42.6%
The UK & Co wriggled like grease lightning and bagged 3360 bonus goodies = 57.4%
The UK & Co won the September Mogul by 14.8%

The Survivor
The USA army bagged 2535 points before getting devoured by Piranha = 40.4%
The UK & Co army snatched 3740 points before vanishing inside the fishy jaws = 59.6%
The UK & Co won the September Survivor by a staggering 19.2%

Eek! As Quiz Beagle would say .... what a magnificent victory for the UK army.
