Results from HQ November 2013

Greetings humans and friends!

It's time for the pacifist penguin to scurry out of the bomb shelter once again and sprint across the battlefields to hoist the winning armies flag.
So who was the victor of the two toughest battles currently raging on the planet?

The Challenge
The USA army fielded 25 staunch troopers who notched up 6256 points = 41%
The UK & Co army had 20 enlisted crack troopers who nabbed 9235 points = 59%
Wow! What an onslaught by the unconquerable woadwearers! And yet ... this pengy is struck dumb with admiration. Not just with the UK & Co army, though they terrify me .... but with our new American General RJ. This fabulous storm trooper has finally prised jules44 from her throne. Congratulations RJ. Now famous and forever remembered in our Hall of Flame as the first USA winner of the Challenge battle since July 2011 when Rage romped to glory... and before that August 2010 when mos623 claimed victory.
Well done RG .... now ... we'll all be laying odds as to whether you can do it again. There is nothing more ferocious than a UK General tipped off her throne. Yes .. I wait with baited fishy breath for the outcome of Decembers fight.

Even so .. the UK & Co were still the better army on the Challenge ... so what of the Survivor battlefield?

The Survivor
The USA army fielded 16 noble warriors, snatched 2672 pts = 35%
The UK & Co blitzed the battlefield with 20 heroic fighters, grabbed 4975 pts = 65%.
The UK & Co army won the November Survivor battle ... and I can still hear the screams of the defeated. Ah ... no .. not screams ... they are war cries! Take care UK ... one day my American buddies will come storming out of the jaws of defeat and hammer you! I'm sure of it ... if only because they have not surrendered yet. Will never surrender. Do not know the meaning of the word ... and as long as there are such tasty nibbles available on Qmel's smorgasbord they will never be beaten.
Which seems a good point to mention that today's tasty performance enhancing nibbles are London Broil , kindly served up from Qmel .. and turkey sandwiches from martin cube. Yes thanks .. a portion of each pour moi s'il vous plait. I can nibble them whilst enjoying the wonderful music game batted back and forth by K-Dog1, martin cube and blackprinceUK.
And now you're all wondering whether I'm French I shall rattle my abacus with Gallic flair and panache to find out which army grabbed victory last month.

The November War was won by the UK & Co army....(again)
UK & Co = 62%
USA = 38%

Sadly, my fishy little eyes are filling up, brimming with moistness, as I pat the Star & Stripes ... and regretfully place it back in mothballs ... and joyously shake out the Union Jack.
And please note ... if anyone sees someone in a tuxedo scampering across the Challenge battlefield to the flagpole, hold your fire ..  it is a non-combatant! Me!

And once in a while you might hear a scream! That'll be me too ... cheering on RJ! And jules44! I do love a good scrap!
