Results from HQ October 2012
Yes! It's that time again ... when the war stats are calculated and my trusty abacus rattles and spits out the last months winner.
And I'm pretty excited ... so I shall stop sipping my shandy and forge forth with the results!
The Challenge
My American buddies fielded 18 crack troopers, nabbed 8977 points = 52.7%
The UK & Co woad wearers fielded 22 warriors, nabbed 8044 points = 47.3%
We have a USA victory on the Challenge battlefield!
You did it my friends ...you beat your cousins from across the pond by 5.4%.
Well done America for a well won victory!
But will it be enough? One battle does not a war make ... and we have the results of the gruesomely tough Survivor to come yet.
The Survivor
The USA valiantly won 2872 points = 37.8%
My UK & Co best mates bagged 4732 = 62.2%
The UK & Co won the Survivor battle by a staggering 24.4%!
The October war overall
USA = 45.3%
UK & Co = 54.7%
The UK & Co won the October war by 9.4%. Last month they won by 12%.
Hmm .. I have cogitated over this ... I'm cheering my American buddies for their great Challenge win but the mighty Brits were just too mighty on the Survivor and still won the day. Ah ... I have a glimmering insight into the battle tactics here. Calling all Americans! Yes you! Pile into the Survivor for that's your Achilles Heel .. and where you are meeting your nemesis. Go scalp your enemy and show them no mercy.
And me? I shall lurk by the tasty smorgasbord and throw you all titbits of food to aid your valiant effort.
