Hello All!
Some Beagle musings. I cannot believe that I haven't blogged yet this year, and a whole third of the year has gone already! Luckily, Qmel has badgered me into it. Thanks Qmel, and I hope you had a lovely birthday. There have been some exciting scraps, and we've all been having fun. And why have we been having fun? We've been having fun playing interesting and different games - with Rules. Not draconian, killjoy Rules, but Rules that make this the most fun Private Tournament (apart from Hamish's Thunderdome, obviously! ;-)) on Fun Trivia. Pengy does a fabulous job keeping tabs on all the stats and we all enjoy it. So, people, if you're lucky enough to be an Immortal *don't play Titans*. Oh, we've all made mistakes, and a quick romp through the battlefield usually results in a Pengy tickle...but to deliberately ignore mostly (apart from a Rude Beagle) polite requests to stop in just Not On. So, pack it in, please. You can play Knockout if you're knocked out, you can play Challenge even if you're never going to win it (like I do ;-)) but you can't play Titan if you're Immortal! And on that note - Titan scoreboard so far..
Crowning Champs Day
The thrones are dragged out ready!
There's an Easter egg for every champ who gets to grace a throne.
Challenge Champ .... and Mogul Maximus .... let the easter bunny escort you to take your place as the best, unvanquished , most feared player and owner of two thrones. Yes, jules44, you get a hug off the bunny today not the fishy tuxedo wearer. That has got to be good news. And brace yourself for another whiskery kiss for notching up most daily wins and been awarded the title of Daily Dervish on the Challenge battlefield with an impressive 18 wins. .. and if that wasn't enough ... she's the Mogul Daily Dervish aswell with 15 wins.
Titanasaurus Rex ... And it's Deborah... and she led the fantastic USA army to an impressive win! Only 7 enlisted and still beat off the larger enemy. I think all of them deserve a creme egg in reward. So I shall name them them all! Deborah ... scubascott .. bernie73 .. cubswin2323 .. Da man11 .. Blackdresss .. poolosopher .. and ... a maverick Invincible who strayed into the fray ... twosleepy. That was tactical wasn't it? Psychological warfare, right? Well this month take care Uk troops ... twosleepy is in the field but then again ... Deborah isn't. Oops .. almost forgot! Another cheer for Deborah for snatching most wins ... with 9 wins.
Sole Survivor .... It was another win by WorldB from the USA! That's make him a ten time champ here. That makes him special and this little pengy is mute with wonder. The survivor is the toughest battlefield ... anyone who can reach the Final Frontier is pretty clever in my eyes ... but to grab 10 wins!

Who climbed most places up the trenches of bloody warfare? Who grazed their knees and ran their little legs down to stubby stumps? i know these things .. I was the one who got to daub on the medicated cream and bind them up with bandages.

On the other hand this hot cross bun makes a perfect grenade. Hmm .. I could stand in the trenches and lob them indiscrimminately at you brave troopers.

The USA fielded 31 troopers, won 8211 points = 53.8% of the buns
The UK & Co fielded 39 troopers, won 8840 points = 46.2% of the buns.
Remember... this a team effort. It's the best army that wins ... not the biggest!
Ah, my American buddies, you were the cleverest... the best ... the victors!
The USA won the March Challenge by 7.6%.
Yikes UK ... last month you won by 6% .
Stand to attention there whilst I pelt you with buns!
The Titan
The USA fielded 7 crack troopers, grabbed 1626 points = 63.7%
The UK & Co fielded 19 troops, snatched 2513 points = 36.3%
Argh ... I nearly choked on a crumb then!
Well .... you American Magnificent Seven you deserve glory and honour!
You won the March Titan battle by 27.4%.
I'm proud of you my human friends, what fine team effort .... last month the UK & Co won by the skin of their teeth ( a 4% win). And now ... ah , no firing squads allowed UK ! It's not in the rules and pengy is a pacifist! I shall bivouac there this month and watch with bated fishy breath to see if the UK can storm back.
The Moguls
The USA army stashed 3550 easter eggs in their arsenal = 41.6%
The UK & Co army stashed 4990 Easter eggs in their arsenal = 58.4%
The UK army win the March Mogul by 16.8% (last month UK won by 18%).
Wow ... did you feel that? My ice floe nearly capsized with the collective sigh of relief coming from the UK.
A good , convincing win on the Mogul battlefield... no one can wriggle under that guillotine with such panache as the woad wearers. But will it be enough to claw back and win the war?
Will it? Oh this is tense stuff.

This is where the UK usually reign unchallenged ... trample the enemy and climb out of the Pit one step ahead of Piranha.
But not this month. Oh dear.
The USA won 4245 buns = 50.4% ... skinning their heels but eluding Piranha's pesky jaws.
The UK & Co won 4175 buns = 49.6% .. and Pirnaha feasted well on them.
The USA win the March Survivor by 0.8% ... and how close it that!
Last month the UK won by 16% and tasted victory!
I shall shake my abacus and dust the crumbs off my tuxedo. Yes, I can multi-task.
Final result from HQ for the 4 battles overall
