One of my faves yesterday was just one such...greyhunter..yes...slide shadowlike onto the course. There's one recruit. My other fave was Anton...and I'm watching you! You're starting to get very very good....who incidentally is another USA threat in the making.

Me, I'm sitting here nibbling my flippers wondering who will win. It isn't decided...no way. Will it be Qmel...(minus a cheerleaders outfit)...will it be Surrealist ..(been a fab newcomer and, heck, he's earned my admiration and awe)...or j2cp2 ( a fearsome ex-Invincible).

I'm going to whisper this next bit to the UK team...Guess what? Unless something drastic happens none of them will be Titans next month. They'll become Invincibles. Did you smile then and give a huge sigh of relief?

Congrats to 2 Wins In A Row miffy....but can you make it 3? My fave player was blackprinceuk. Aw...got 10 right..got nobbled by the time limit. And that is painful when this months battle is so closely fought. UK are winning...UK are managing to hold back the american army...so far.

But has anyone seen cat brat? Is she Okay or have I missed something and she's on her hols?

After 1 day of the 3 death defying duels paper aeroplane is in the strongest position now...but...14 toughies only have 20 points splitting them all.

This one is still wide open..up for grabs and dare I say ,and brag with fond pride whilst I wipe a sentimental tear from my eye, filled with the toughest players on the whole of Fun Trivia. I'm proud of my survivors, all of you. Any army would be proud to have you on their side.

40 incredibly brave players had a go...only 14 are now left of able body and sound mind.

Countdown ...2 more days play...or is that 1?

Tomorrow is Armageddon.

P.S. Piranha and me, moi, pengy have had NATO like conference over a plate of smoked kippers and shandy. Next months quiz will have the expected K.O. rounds....but...as Armageddon draws nigh then the survivors will be culled, mercilessly, unrelentingly...everyday until there is only 1 of you left standing! Now... I have an observation. Isn't it nice to know after opening my big beak I haven't lost my knack for evocation. Yep...Surrealist is back. Wasn't kidnappd at all. No messing around went straight in and nabbed first place. Can safely say aswell that we're looking at a new Invincible here...know what that means. No Titan for Surrealist next month. One less devilish trickster for the UK titans to subdue...After a rocky start the UK cohorts are coming back but could be too late now. Let's see how they fare next month.

On Movies..my my , this is taking the war straight into the enemy camp! And that makes it 2 wins in a row aswell for our clever jules. And a win snatches double bonus points ...and boy are they bcoming more precious than gold dust. Reckon the mogul is the closest of all the tournaments and I've pitched my tent to watch it gleefully to the nailbiting end. The UK have'nt had a sniff in and won it since February. Oh America could you stand the shame if you got beat this month? I've stockpiled tissues mongrammed with the bald eagle just incase. ..soft and strong and mansize.

With a mighty 2 wins In A row aswell..miffy has been a star performer here..and regretfully he hasn't visited my pit. No one managed to escape last night under cover of dark though they were throwing the grappling irons with manic desperation.

My fave player was one of these valiant heroes...flicker123 who reached the lip..and popped her head out ah...flicker I didn't realise you were a furry critter. I'm on your side..get them paws digging for freedom..think The Great Escape!. Yes, I know in the film they get shot ...but not here. I love my little fighters so much you're not expendable.

Time to trot over to the mogul..snatch a nibble...trot back to the Last Human and lure piranha away from the pit.

It was 3/2 for the americans. Becoming a regular thing aswell now, so it is. Seems to me they're fielding the strongest team they've ever had just now. Armageddon is drawing inexorably closer and there's personal glory at stake aswell as the team event. Well done to Qmel...leader of the Titans and destined for a crown and who has sneaked back into the Invincibles. Just missed out last month...bu that makes you my fave Challenge player too.

But another little trooper dazzled me with a magnificent performance. Stuhern scampered in 4th..was higher but as the day went on was getting biffed. It can get tough on the battlefield. Probably concussed now but this elevates him from Invincible in Dire Danger of Demotion...to merely Invincible in Danger of Demotion. Even team mates can eye each other preadatorily when it comes to the crunch.

Oh and hello...I'm waving to greyhunter...just got pushed of the foot of the flagpole and landed in 6th. Pretty impressive though for a first dash undr enemy fire. Bet the UK are pleased to have such good Commonwealth allies.

Yes...my spiffy miffy set the pace. And oh er...don't want to alarm anyone but after play tomorrow the final cull will see you whittled down to the last 14 truly tough survivors.

The toughest, meanest, fittest , most fearsome fighters alive on the planet who'll then get only 3 days of History...People and Movies (huh?) to thrash out The Last Human Standing.

Isn't it dreadful and exciting!

Quick peek over the parapet in my bulletproof vest...the UK Challenge troops are hammering home at full throttle and building a pretty impregnable barricade to stop the USA reaching the flagpole. You know, america, I think one day you might live to regret antagonizing the foe by winning these past few months.

And the Moguls ....hmmm..only 1 american in the top 10 so far...scubascott ...and they've tied him up. Bit outnumbered but that's war for you. The Titans? Oops...he's wriggled free, escaped and has shot off in the lead here. The tricky thing. And the Last Human...I'll skip nimbly around the pit incase anyone grabs me mistaking me for a ladder....hard to see through the heat haze but I think it's miffy in the lead.

Go miffy go..and restore UK honour! The UK is under siege on all battlefronts!

Aw...this makes Eebs my fave player. What a good day she had hurdling across the perimeter fences to storm home well in 2 quizzes. Moving swiftly on...Surrealist escaped my clutches and sacrificed flicker123 UK to the pit instead.

Clever exchange that... a USA player for a UK player. Not only does this make Surrealist my fave fighter...but also my fabbiest fave for such an outstanding performance all around. Is he mean or is he mean? I hope I don't risk giving him an inflated cranium with all this flattery? Or instigate his downfall.... my Kiss of Death hasn't claimed any victims lately.

Time to test it and see hey?

4/1 for the USA. Seems to me there's no stopping them now they've got the bit between their teeth. And poor jules44...ambushed...an attempted kidnapping even. Surrealist certainly looks to be becoming big trouble. UK are going to have to superglue him down....too cruel? Aw...OK...how about tying him to a hot air ballon and waiting for a favourable wind?

My fave Challenge player was burnsbaron (and Dudley, bless him)..a PB in the bag and a much needed high scoring spot for the UK. Saw a new doggie dashing across the course, a new Commonwealth player with the union jack stamped on his bum. Made a good entry too...very promising. ..oh yes..answers to Pointer. Welcome and have fun here.

Now...I've been itching to peek see at who might or who might not make into the exalted ranks of the Invincibles next time....and remember, this could send catastrophic shockwaves rippling across the Titan battlefront.

Congrats to Anton for 2 Wins In A Row...nice work there. My fave Titan was onebraincellUK...for er, yes the UK. Earned herself a PB...and came home in 10th. Both mascots are locked in combat here aswell..ain't that nice.

This is known as a Eureka moment.

As we all know Invincibles can't play the Titans...but...a demoted Invincible CAN if he feels brave take on the might of the hungry horde.

If Surrealist...j2cp2 ...Qmel...lg549 and Little Heaven reckon they can win the Titanasaurus Rex crown they'd better keep sprinting and not stop for breath just incase they're barred.

It was still 3/2 for the americanos who rampaged home behind shadowzep. But what a bunch of star players are racing to that flagpole thesedays....makes picking a fave difficult. Chucked all the dogtags in a sardine can...and out came...oops, an old mouldy sardine...

then OldSpotPig and Stuhern..but you have to hand it to shadowzep for a pretty nifty sprint to the line...and chipownz. Yeh..I spotted you!

But my little heart pounded faster aswell when chewwy and glitterfairy scampered across the line. My little proteges....

Cor...and it was only the first day of running across the Titan battlefield. One days play...one win. Bet the UK force are hoping it was the first and last. Little Heaven tried a rugby tackle..failed. Without a doubt Anton gets to be my fave player...and needs watching.

Not another USA hero wail the UK side. Take heart..or hire an assasin now ready for next month! I'm keen to take a peek but will resist the urge to guestimate which demoted Invincibles might get thrown next into the lion pit.
